[WISPA] brain cramp, can someone jog my memory?

Does that really take any less time than just doing it in Radio Mobile?

John,

As a quick method, you can use National Geographic's Topo! software. I
live in a pretty hilly area. When folks call us for service, my wife
asks them their address and she puts it into Google Maps. Google maps
gives her their general lat and long.

Then she tosses those coordinates into Topo and uses the compass tool
to draw a line from the tower to the customer. The software can then
do a quick "walk" along that line much like you describe below. The
output gives a pretty good idea of wether or not the link tries to go
through any rocks.

I _really_ love Radio Mobile tho! Topo costs around 50-100 bucks and
can hook to your GPS if needed.
